I came up with an idea for this multipurpose crochet blanket with a thought of it being baby’s favourite TOY TO PLAY as well as something to CUDDLE and KEEP WARM while sleeping. This crochet baby blanket is especially handy when travelling either in a pram or a car seat. It’s not only SPACE SAVING (blanket and toy 2 in 1) but it also keeps the baby occupied in both folded and unfolded form. It can also be hung over the cot (and tied in to it with ribbons) when not in use or for smaller babies to look at. Not mentioning it can be used as a pillow or even floor cushion for sitting and playing on it. That’s 5 uses out of 1 blanket!

Thanks to using bobble stitch and chunky yarn in this design, the blanket will keep the baby nice and warm even on the cold day. It will also have a nice texture which makes this crochet blanket a sensory toy.

    What a fabulous pattern. Very well written and easy to follow. The diagrams are really useful and the video links are excellent. I always find the sewing together and embroidery stressful but the clear instructions made it hassle free. The alternative eye options were also useful and I shall be crocheting my eyes from now on! The finished blanket is so cute that everyone who saw it wanted one! My great niece is happy with it too 🥰 I also purchased the recommended Dreamy wool and that was so nice to work with. Can’t decide which cuddly blanket to make next!

    I love this pattern It is so easy to follow Her instructions are very clear and the videos are great if you get stuck! I’m almost done with my first lamb I am making two for my grandchildren A lot of people must be making these as King Cole Comfort Chunky in white and gray are getting hard to find!!! This is the best online pattern I have gotten Excellent product
