Hi, I’m Aneta Izabela the person behind the Crochet Arcade brand that I’ve created in 2012. I’m a wife and a mum and as of 2017 I’m a full time crochet pattern designer and a blogger.
My mum taught me to crochet when I was about 7 years old but I haven’t seriously started to crochet till I was 29. As most people I’ve started by selling my crochet makings from the patterns I’ve designed but soon realised it’s not something I wanted to do in a long term. For a year I’ve also taught crochet in the local town where I live. I really enjoyed teaching crochet but my heart was always in designing and that’s where I’ve decided to put all my efforts in for the time being.
I’m an economist from education, I’ve worked as an accountant/analyst since I graduated the University but I also have this creative side of me that loves arts and crafts. What I love about designing the patterns is that I can use my mathematical and analytical skills in a generally creative processes of designing the pattern. I also love photography and digital designs so it all ties in perfectly and hopefully will help me succeed in what I do.
I’ve got loads of ideas and exciting plans for the future including publishing e-books, creating loads of free crochet tutorials including downloadable crochet charts and releasing plenty of new patterns.
