This was my first amigurumi work. I had no clue how to change colors, how to work in a circle, etc. But with this pattern I learned all I had to learn about crocheting. It’s the best pattern ever. Don’t be afraid to buy it if you are a beginner! This is the best way to learn to crochet!

Loved making this blanket. I am a beginner (this is my first pattern purchase!) and this blanket was a little challening. (Mainly the body parts.) The instructions got me through it thou. Probably going to try another one of the other animals.

My lockdown challenge was to teach myself how to crochet. I loved these cute blankets, so thought I would give one a go, once I’d mastered the skill of basic stitches. I was thrilled with the results. Instructions very clear and fantastic explanations & video tutorials. There was the occasional reference to SC in the cow pattern, which we don’t use in the UK, but once I’d worked that out, it was plain sailing. I’ve now made the elephant and the cow blankets as gifts. The recipients adore them! The most difficult part was getting hold of the white King Cole comfort chunky yarn – it was out of stock from many online suppliers & was snapped up in minutes once it was back in stock!

I have now completed two blankets , an elephant and a sheep . I am a beginner at crocheting and have never followed a written pattern before, I found the pattern very comprehensive and extremely well written. The videos were a massive help . I managed to finish the blankets and was happy to give them as presents .

Great pattern with thorough Instructions. I am an experienced crocheter but this was my first graphgan. Once I got the hang of the color change it worked very quickly. Make sure you read the instructions first and it will turn out wonderful! There are YouTube videos you can watch to show how the graphgan works. This was a gift and it came out adorable. Will be buying the other animals to complete! Thanks:)
